Als prelude op het eerste seizoen van Off the, Grid werkten drie kunstenaars samen aan een nieuw project dat ze aan het publiek presenteren tijdens de tien uur durende performance GÉNÉRALE, waar drie kunstenaars in één dag in één ruimte vijf verschillende tentoonstellingen improviseren.
Tijdens de opbouwuren praten we met programmamakers, organisatoren, publiek en kunstenaars over hoe ruimte en programma maken voor en door kunstenaars. Tijdens de vijf vernissages is er mogelijkheid om je eigen projecten en ideeën te bespreken, te formuleren en te lanceren.

By way of prelude to the first official Off the, Grid season in October, three artists present a collective project. GÉNÉRALE is a try-out for a mobile and dynamic scenography in which three artists formulate five different exhibitions during one day in one space.
Whilst the building up of each exhibition is in progress, curators, makers, public and artists talk about ‘how to make a space and a program by artists for artists’. During five festive opening moments there is a possibility to discuss and formulate your artistic projects and ideas.
