Adriënne van der Werf (1991, Vlissingen) is curator, kunsthistoricus en cultuurwerker, actief in zowel Nederland als België. Na het behalen van een bachelor in marketingcommunicatie studeerde zij verder aan de Universiteit Gent, waar zij een bachelor en master in Kunstwetenschappen behaalde. Aansluitend volgde zij de postgraduaatopleiding Curatorial Studies aan de Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten (KASK) in Gent. Sinds 2018 ontwikkelt zij onderzoeksgedreven, site-sensitieve projecten die de rol van autonome tentoonstellingsruimtes bevragen. Haar werk speelt zich vaak af in de (semi-)publieke ruimte en maakt gebruik van tijdsgebonden media. Van 2022 tot 2024 was zij (assistent-)curator bij Vleeshal. Sinds 2024 is zij artistiek coördinator van Nesse, een organisatie voor de productie, ontwikkeling en presentatie van hedendaagse kunst en ontwerp in Terneuzen. Daarnaast is zij medeoprichter en co-curator van Publiek Park, een nomadisch kunstproject in stadsparken en tuinen in België.

Adriënne van der Werf (1991, Vlissingen) is a curator, art historian and cultural worker active in both the Netherlands and Belgium. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, she studied at Ghent University, where she completed a bachelor and master in Art History. She then pursued the postgraduate Curatorial Studies programme at KASK – the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Since 2018, she has developed research-driven, site-sensitive projects that question the role of autonomous exhibition spaces. Her work often takes place in (semi-)public space and makes use of time-based media. From 2022 to 2024, she worked as (assistant) curator at Vleeshal. Since 2024, she is the artistic coordinator of Nesse, an organisation for the production, development and presentation of contemporary art and design in Terneuzen. She is also co-founder and co-curator of Publiek Park, a nomadic art project taking place in public parks and gardens in Belgium.
