Dries Segers is a visu­al artist, pho­to­grap­her, mat­ter ben­der, publis­her and researcher. In his inter­dis­ci­pli­na­ry field of work, he explo­res the value of human and earth­ly ele­ments to start col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve pro­ces­ses. The work shifts from work made out of mat­ter which is tan­gi­ble (rain, air, water, trees) in other cases he uses and acti­va­tes invi­si­bles (radi­a­ti­on, light waves, pol­lu­ti­ons) always focu­sed on mate­ri­al and sil­ver based pho­to­grap­hy. His quest for together­ness leads to visu­a­li­za­ti­ons of the col­la­bo­ra­ti­on bet­ween spe­cies, rai­sing ques­ti­ons about owner­ship, exploita­ti­on, and the pro­tec­ti­on of our sha­red world.
