Rosa Tyhurst is een cura­tor uit Zuid-Wales en is woon­ach­tig in Zuid-Londen. Ze werkt momen­teel als cura­tor bij Gasworks, geves­tigd in Londen, waar ze in samen­wer­king met ande­ren een pro­gram­ma van ten­toon­stel­lin­gen, resi­den­ties, publie­ke pro­gram­ma’s en par­ti­ci­pa­tie­pro­jec­ten ont­werpt en rea­li­seert. Vooraleer Gasworks op haar pad kwam, werk­te ze bij Nottingham Contemporary en bij Spike Island in Bristol, waar ze Zuzanna Rachowska voor het eerst ontmoette. 

Rosa heeft op inter­na­ti­o­naal niveau ten­toon­stel­lin­gen en pro­gram­ma’s samen­ge­steld, onder meer bij Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turijn (IT), het Wattis Institute in San Francisco (VS), Cloaca in San Francisco (VS), Royal Nonesuch Gallery in Oakland (VS) en DREI in Keulen (DE). Haar tek­sten zijn gepu­bli­ceerd in Art Monthly, Elephant, Hyperallergic, Contemporary Art Reviews Los Angeles en ArtPractical, en ze heeft bij­ge­dra­gen aan publi­ca­ties over Veronica Ryan, Candice Lin en Peggy Ahwesh. Rosa heeft de Master in Curatorial Practice behaald aan het California College of the Arts.

Rosa Tyhurst is a cura­tor from South Wales and based in South London. She cur­rent­ly works as a cura­tor at Gasworks, London, whe­re she col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve­ly devi­ses and deli­vers a pro­gram­me of exhi­bi­ti­ons, resi­den­cies, public pro­gram­mes and par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on pro­jects. Prior to Gasworks, she wor­ked at Nottingham Contemporary and at Spike Island, Bristol, whe­re she was wor­king when she first met Zuzanna Rachowska.
