Sergi Rusca is a cura­tor spe­ci­a­li­zing in inter­sec­ti­o­nal eco­lo­gy, queer eco­lo­gies, and more-than-human worl­ding. He works as a cura­tor at RADIUS, Center for Contemporary Art and Ecology in Delft, and at Ellen de Bruijne PROJECTS in Amsterdam.

ABOUT


Sergi Rusca (Barcelona, 1996) is a cura­tor living and wor­king in the Netherlands. His prac­ti­ce focu­ses on inter­sec­ti­o­nal eco­lo­gy, and at the moment he is espe­ci­al­ly inte­rested in phi­lo­sop­hy of sci­en­ce, queer eco­lo­gies, and more-than-human worl­ding. He is cur­rent­ly wor­king as Curator at RADIUS, cen­ter for con­tem­po­ra­ry art and eco­lo­gy, Delft; and as Gallery Curator at Ellen de Bruijne PROJECTS, Amsterdam.

Examples of recent and upco­ming cura­to­ri­al pro­jects inclu­de Werker Collective –– Becomming Uncommon Subjects (2025); Femke Herregraven –– Dialect (2024÷2025); Sergei Eisenstein –– The rhythm of ecs­ta­sy: the sex dra­wings, 1931 – 1948 (2024); Junghun Kim –– Breathe a Mending Song Into These Earhtly Wounds(2023÷2024); and Dora García –– Insect, History, Mirror, Revolution (2023).

He has given talks and lec­tu­res at insti­tu­ti­ons such as Eye Filmmuseum, Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam, University of Amsterdam, Utrecht University, and 1646. In 2024, he wor­ked as a tutor on degrowth archi­tec­tu­re in the MSc Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Sciences at TU Delft. 

He holds a BA from Universitat de Barcelona (2018) and an MA from Utrecht University (2020).
