Sergi Rusca
Sergi Rusca is a curator specializing in intersectional ecology, queer ecologies, and more-than-human worlding. He works as a curator at RADIUS, Center for Contemporary Art and Ecology in Delft, and at Ellen de Bruijne PROJECTS in Amsterdam.
ABOUT
Sergi Rusca (Barcelona, 1996) is a curator living and working in the Netherlands. His practice focuses on intersectional ecology, and at the moment he is especially interested in philosophy of science, queer ecologies, and more-than-human worlding. He is currently working as Curator at RADIUS, center for contemporary art and ecology, Delft; and as Gallery Curator at Ellen de Bruijne PROJECTS, Amsterdam.
Examples of recent and upcoming curatorial projects include Werker Collective –– Becomming Uncommon Subjects (2025); Femke Herregraven –– Dialect (2024÷2025); Sergei Eisenstein –– The rhythm of ecstasy: the sex drawings, 1931 – 1948 (2024); Junghun Kim –– Breathe a Mending Song Into These Earhtly Wounds(2023÷2024); and Dora García –– Insect, History, Mirror, Revolution (2023).
He has given talks and lectures at institutions such as Eye Filmmuseum, Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam, University of Amsterdam, Utrecht University, and 1646. In 2024, he worked as a tutor on degrowth architecture in the MSc Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Sciences at TU Delft.
He holds a BA from Universitat de Barcelona (2018) and an MA from Utrecht University (2020).
