Talk & Screening “P[ ]RN 101” by Paulita Pappel (organized by V‑Fest)
Watching pornography is, no doubt, a widespread human phenomenon. For a variety of reasons. So, why do we still consider pornography as a taboo? And what makes it so uncomfortable to talk about it, let alone watch it together with others?
Time to explore this juxtaposition! With none other than Paulita Pappel, Spanish filmmaker and feminist porn entrepreneur, and co-founder of the amateur platform Lustery, as well as the hardcore film studio HardWerk.
Brace yourselves for an exciting evening of porn ‘watching & talking’.

Screening: “re‑c(O)unting” by Pamela Varela & Ella Hebendanz
“re‑c(O)unting” is an artistic-scientific research film questioning how we can transform the production of knowledge; it is an empowering journey from the transgenerational trauma our lands and bodies store. Deconstructing the binarisms between nature-technology, science-spirituality, male-female, we zoom out and into the colonial history between Europe and Latin America and link it to the colonial approach medicine has had on female-assigned bodies. Delving into our deepest insides, we hack our way into the technoscientific field to address its violent approach, while using it as a tool of contemporary magick and reclaiming to retell the stories of our bodies.”
The film will be shown in loop and can be viewed before and following Paulita’s Papel screening.
