18.10-03.11: MIMESIS - Nathan Verbos e.a. (4n20)
In essentie dient Mimesis als een brug tussen kunst en design, waarbij beide disciplines op verschillende manieren de werkelijkheid weerspiegelen, interpreteren en communiceren. Mimesis neemt deel aan Wonder Creativity Festival met onder andere Minckelers-resident Nathan Vrebos, die er voor het eerst zijn Column Chair toont.
“The Column Chair is a brutalist, monochrome chair that transforms into an elegant curve along the user’s body when sat upon. While the chair is completely black, the textures of the materials reveal more details than are apparent at first glance.”
