20.03 - 06.04: 'Renarrative' - The Constant Now w. Joseph Thabang Palframan a.o. (WORM)

Unnamed 22

RENARRATIVE explores lost histories and reimagines them to shape the future. Through video, painting, and installations, six artists revive underrepresented narratives drawn from personal memories, experiences, and cultural identity. The group show, curated by Magali Elali, is rooted in Critical Fabulation, a method by scholar Saidiya Hartman, blending historical research, critical theory, and storytelling to fill gaps in history. Like Hartman, these artists reclaim erased personal and collective histories.

Originally produced by Cultuurcentrum Brugge & Club Magie, the exhibition was first shown at Belfort Brugge before travelling to WORM.’
