Hotel Carrousel presents: Mr Trombones & blossoming tales

Hotel Carrousel presents: Mr Trombones & blossoming tales (2024)
An installation by Léa Mainguy, on view during Museum Night on August 2nd at Het Bos.
For this edition of Hotel Carrousel, we are stepping away from our usual collaboration with three artists and instead opting for one powerful, all-encompassing installation. This time, the wild summer garden of Het Bos is not just the setting, it’s the inspiration behind this exceptional choice. The location calls for a work that explores the boundaries between nature and imagination, between life and decay, a mood we found effortlessly reflected in Léa Mainguy’s enchanting installation.
‘Mr Trombones & blossoming tales’ is not an installation in the traditional sense. It is an immersive narrative that guides visitors into an in-between world: melancholic, absurd, and wonderfully strange. The perfect experience for a sultry summer Museum Night.
Artist Lupe Arens warmly invites you to join and dive into this unique experience together.
