Che Go Eun studeerde Koreaanse schilderkunst aan de Sejong Universiteit in Seoul en behaalde de Master of Fine Arts aan MaHKU in Utrecht, de Master of Media and Information Design aan LUCA en de Master of Fine Arts aan LUCA in Brussel. Ze was ook laureaat aan het Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten (HISK) in Gent in 2018 en nam in 2020 deel aan een residentieprogramma van een jaar bij AAIR Antwerpen (nu Morpho). Haar werk is te zien geweest in solo- en groepstentoonstellingen, onder meer in het S.M.A.K. in Gent (2025), het Art Sonje Center in Seoul (2019), de Kunsthal Aarhus (2018), de Kunsthal Extra City in Antwerpen (2018) en BOZAR in Brussel (2017).

Che Go Eun (최고은) is een Zuid-Koreaanse beeldend kunstenaar die zich tussen Brussel en Seoul beweegt. Haar werk onderzoekt manieren waarop traditionele schilderkunst kan worden gecombineerd met computertechnologie: digitale collages, 3D-modellering, robotachtige tekeningen, virtuele realiteit en AI-beeldvorming. Ze haalt haar inspiratie uit vrouwelijke verhalen over liefde, videogames, schoonheid, folklore, mythologie en religie. Onlangs is ze nagelstyliste geworden, zowel voor haar artistieke praktijk als voor haar levensonderhoud. Ze gebruikt nagelkunst als instrument om identiteit, arbeid en esthetiek te verkennen.

Che Go Eun (최고은) is a South Korean visual artist currently based in Brussels and Seoul. Her work explores ways traditional painting can be morphed with computer technology- digital collages, 3D modeling, robotic drawings, virtual reality, and AI imagery. She finds inspiration in female narratives from love, video games, beauty, folklore, mythology and religion. Recently, She became a nail technician, both for her artistic practice and living. She uses nail art as a way to explore identity, labor, and aesthetics.
