Flag / Vlag #13: 'This is not enough (For A, M, Jyo and Robin)' - Dagmar Bosma
NL
Dagmar Bosma (geb. Dagmar woont momenteel in Amsterdam.

Dagmar Bosma (born 1994, uses the pronouns they/them and he/him interchangeably) is an artist, writer, and gleaner — a reference to Agnès Varda’s film. Dagmar currently lives in Amsterdam. In their installations and sculptural work, they explore trans*formative material processes, often from the perspective of gender.
At the invitation of Cas-co, Dagmar engaged in conversations with communities in Leuven dedicated to improving transgender healthcare and LGBTQIA+ rights. In 2025, four young people in Leuven were victims of severe transphobic violence at the Oude Markt. Following this incident, they called for the establishment of a reporting point for inappropriate and transgressive behaviour in Leuven, known as a Purple Point. Unfortunately, this has not yet been realized.
These conversations with Dagmar formed the foundation for the design of a new flag for the monumental flagpole of Cas-co. On Thursday, 12 November, at 7:00 PM, an artist talk with Dagmar will take place at Cas-co. At 8:00 PM, we will walk together to the nearby flagpole at Brede School Stroom, where Dagmar will unveil and hoist the new flag.
