Naar aan­lei­ding van hun recen­te her­uit­vin­ding poogt GROEF door mid­del van het her­vor­men van ​‘used spa­ces’ kunst en het dage­lijk­se leven te ver­bin­den. Om dit te ver­we­zen­lij­ken werd de expo­si­tie VITRINE bedacht.

Gecureerd door Artus Mundi zal deze expo vier geken­de win­kels in het Leuvense laten samen­wer­ken met vier artiesten.

Dit is het eer­ste luik van een half­jaar­lijks pro­ject waar­bij GROEF inter­ac­ties tus­sen arties­ten en win­kels onder­zoekt en op deze manier een let­ter­lij­ke show­ca­se teweeg­brengt, zowel voor de par­ti­ci­pe­ren­de arties­ten als voor de win­kels zelf.

In the light of their recent rede­fi­ni­ti­on into three key pil­lars, GROEF has vowed to inter­con­nect arts with eve­ry­day life through the res­ha­ping of used spa­ce. For this pur­po­se, the exhi­bi­ti­on under the moni­ker VITRINE has been created.

Carefully cura­ted by Artus Mundi this expo will aim to bring together four repu­ta­ble sto­res throug­hout the inner city of Leuven with four artists.

This will be the first part of a bian­nu­al pro­ject whe­re we explo­re inter­ac­ti­ons bet­ween artists and sto­res and by its very natu­re cre­a­te a lite­ral show­ca­se, for both par­ti­ci­pa­ting artists and sto­res alike.
