On September 19, Cas-co will receive curator Magali Elali (The Constant Now) for a lunch lecture and studio visits. During the talk at 12 o’clock, she will talk about her practice in-depth. Afterwards, you can join us for a good conversation and democratically priced lunch.
Magali Elali is an art historian and independent curator who founded The Constant Now, a non-profit network and platform that promotes inclusivity in the art scene through exhibitions, talks, projects, and POC POC, a mentoring program for emerging artists of color. Her curatorial practice focuses on social change, empowering minorities, and representing counter-narratives. She has served as a guest curator at Museum Hof van Busleyden and frequently collaborates with institutions such as Kunsthal Gent, S.M.A.K., Extra City Antwerpen, FOMU, and NW Aalst.

Op 19 september verwelkomt Cas-co curator Magali Elali (The Constant Now) voor een lunch talk en studiobezoeken. Tijdens de talk om 12 uur vertelt ze uitgebreid over haar praktijk. Nadien kunt u bij ons terecht voor een goed gesprek en een democratisch geprijsde lunch.
Magali Elali is kunsthistoricus en onafhankelijk curator en richtte The Constant Now op, een non-profitnetwerk en platform dat inclusiviteit in de kunstscene promoot via tentoonstellingen, lezingen, projecten en POC POC, een mentoringprogramma voor opkomende kunstenaars van kleur. Haar curatoriële praktijk richt zich op sociale impact, het versterken van minderheden en het vertegenwoordigen van tegenverhalen. Ze was gastconservator bij Museum Hofvan Busleyden en werkt regelmatig samen met instellingen als Kunsthal Gent, S.M.A.K., Extra City Antwerpen, FOMU en NW Aalst.
