Het Fringe luik van het stadsfestival ‘New Horizons — Dieric Bouts’ is een performance- en tentoonstellingsparcours waar nieuwe stemmen met grensverleggend werk aan zet zijn. Op verschillende locaties in de stad brengen elf organisaties uit verschillende disciplines straf werk van onder de radar, met Dieric Bouts als “guide from the past”. Speciaal voor de opening stippelden we een begeleide route uit langs verschillende Fringe-locaties in de binnenstad, te beginnen in Cas-co / Off the Grid. Hier opent de solotentoonstelling ‘Eat the Frog, Swallow the Ebb’ van Francisco Correia en wordt de performance ‘Part I: the Dinner’ door Domingo Collective opgevoerd. Ontdek daarnaast de tentoonstelling van Queer Arts festival, de installatie van Sarah Lauwers, de performance van Agnès Geoffray en zo veel meer. Eindigen doen we op het Playground Festival in STUK met drankjes en muziek.

The Fringe part of the city festival ‘New Horizons — Dieric Bouts’ is a performance and exhibition trail featuring new voices with ground-breaking work. Eleven organizations from different disciplines present work from under the radar at various locations in the city, with Dieric Bouts as “guide from the past”. Specially for the opening evening, we mapped out a route along several Fringe locations, starting in Cas-co / Off the Grid. The exhibition ‘Eat the Frog, Swallow the Ebb’ by Francisco Correia opens here and the exhibition ‘Part I: the Dinner’ by Domingo Collective is staged. The tour leads from there to the other locations and ends at 10:00 PM in the STUK with the performance ‘Fléau’ by Agnès Geoffray and ‘Part II: the Nightcap’ by Domingo. Complete the atmosphere with a drink and music.
