The Boring Space Issue moves and con­ti­nues its research in the cloud. 4 artists sha­re how bore­dom rela­tes to their prac­ti­ce through a visu­al inter­view. No dia­lo­gue bet­ween an artist’s prac­ti­ce and a phy­si­cal pla­ce, but a con­ver­sa­ti­on in pixels and hertz.

Het ver­za­me­len en oog­sten van het vol­gen­de moment: Je gooit ste­nen in het water uit ver­ve­ling. Het ver­za­me­len, net omdat dit moment ein­de­loos is, zon­der func­tie, geen rich­ting omvat of juist alle richtingen.

Verveling als een vacuum – de steen die door het water wordt opge­zo­gen – een hol­te. Geen tekort aan prik­kels, maar een tekort aan betekenis.

Kidnapping and cul­ti­va­ting the moment when you start thro­wing sto­nes in the water becau­se of bore­dom. Because this moment is end­less, func­ti­on-free, inclu­des no direc­ti­on or eve­ry direc­ti­on. Boredom as a vacuum — the sto­ne absor­bed by the water – emp­ti­ness. Not an absen­ce of sti­mu­la­ti­on, but an absen­ce of meaning.
