Cas-co en kun­ste­naar en chef-in-resi­den­ce Matthijs van der Burgt (chefs name: Matsoe) sloe­gen de han­den ver­de­re ont­wik­ke­ling van kun­ste­naars­keu­ken Off the Plate. ​‘Off the Plate’ ver­bindt zich op ver­schil­len­de manie­ren aan de wer­king en com­mu­ni­ty van Cas-co: OTP is het klop­pen­de hart van Cas-co, en vormt een gemeen­schaps­plek waar resi­den­ten samen kun­nen eten en elkaar ont­moe­ten. Matsoe expe­ri­men­teert als chef-in-resi­den­ce met nieu­we for­mu­les die hij uit­test op de ver­schil­len­de publie­ken die de revue pas­se­ren. Tot slot wor­den er stap voor stap meer con­nec­ties gemaakt met de pro­gram­ma­groep van Off the Grid en kun­nen resi­den­ten er wer­ken op de inter­sec­tie van kunst en eten of culi­nai­re gatherings, com­mu­nal tablees of per­for­man­ces organiseren.

Cas-co and artist and chef-in-resi­den­ce Matthijs van der Burgt (chef’s name: Matsoe) joi­ned for­ces to fur­ther devel­op artis­t’s kit­chen Off the Plate. ​‘Off the Plate’ con­nects to the ope­ra­ti­on and com­mu­ni­ty of Cas-co in various ways: OTP is the bea­ting heart of Cas-co, and forms a com­mu­ni­ty pla­ce whe­re resi­dents can eat together and meet each other. As chef-in-resi­den­ce, Matsoe expe­ri­ments with new for­mu­las that he tests on the various audien­ces that pass by. Finally, step by step, more con­nec­ti­ons are made with the Off the Grid pro­gram group and resi­dents can work at the inter­sec­ti­on of art and food or orga­ni­ze culi­na­ry gatherings, com­mu­nal tables or performances.
