OFFSIDE is een reeks openbare interventies vormgegeven door Stefanie De Bakker, Milan Gillard en Anne-Lore Thijssen. Ze gaan op zoek naar een samensmelting van de publieke ruimte en de ontmoetingsplaats binnen Cas-co waar de reflectie van het maakproces centraal staat. Enkele kunstcollectieven worden uitgenodigd om drie maanden lang een stedelijke interventie te doen binnen de stad Leuven. Participatie, collectieve creatie en educatie staan centraal.
De finissage start vanaf 16u in Cas-co waar de bezoeker kan zien wat er de voorbije drie maanden gebeurde in de stad Leuven. We presenteren de werken van Bert Villa & 019 Gent, Denicolai & Provoost, De Eenzamen, VROOMM.collectif en BRuiTAL.
Amber Meulenijzer begint haar performance The Saab Sculptures om 16u30 in de stad Leuven en zal rond 17u weer aankomen bij Cas-co. Vang haar in de stad of doe mee voor een livestream. De Saab Sculptures is een reeks werken die de Saab 900-auto in verschillende contexten plaatsen en zo de openbare/private ruimte in vraag stellen, transformeren en pimpen.

OFFSIDE is a series of public interventions designed by Stefanie De Bakker, Milan Gillard and Anne-Lore Thijssen. They seek a fusion of the public space and the meeting place within Cas-co where the reflection of the creative process is central. Some art collectives are invited to carry out an urban intervention within the city of Leuven for three months. Participation, collective creation and education are central.
The finissage will start from 4pm at Cas-co where the visitor can have a look of what has happened over the past three months in the city of Leuven. We will present the works of Bert Villa & 019 Gent, Denicolai & Provoost, De Eenzamen, VROOMM.collectif and BRUiTAL.
Amber Meulenijzer will start her performance The Saab Sculptures at 4pm30 in the city of Leuven and will arrive again around 5pm at Cas-co. Catch her in the city or join us for a livestream.
